PowerPoint Projection (presenter vs participant screens)

HI. I'm trying to establish whether it is possible, when
projecting a PPT presentation to a group of people, to
view the notes page on one's laptop, but to project only
the actual slides without the notes page.
In other words, can I include further notes, teaching
points etc. that only the presenter can see, but not he
participants? Also, if I can't do this in PPT, are there
any other applications recommended?
