powerpoint show to dvd with sound

jstech

i am working on a powerpoint show of birds with a sound file attached to
each slide with the bird sound. in reading previous posts, i was led to
believe that using a conversion program would only allow me to attach music
recorded from an external souorce, which of course would do me no good. i am
using powerpoint 2003, on windows xp home.
thank you

jstech,

If you follow through this tutorial (convert powerpoint to play on a home dvd player)
http://www.powerpointbackgrounds.com/powerpoint-to-dvd.htm

However....It will only capture the sound if certain conditions are met (a certain sound card...or access to certain
settings)

However, you can then add the relevant sounds using the camtasia studio product along a timeline. This allows you to get
the sounds exactly in sync with the pictures/video
