powerpoint slide doesn't play to end with music

My presentation has 39 slides. I've indicated with 1st song to end at slide
23, no looping. For 2nd song, indicated to end of slide 39. Presentation
finishes at # 38 and loops back to beginning... starts over. I have doubled
checked the set-up and can't find a logical answer for it.

Also, when I send it via email, how can I make sure that when the recipient
opens it, the music will play. The individual knows nothin about uppacking,
etc. I just want him to open it and watch, hear, etc. And I'm an
experienced wordprocesser, etc.

Humm, try setting presentation to slides 1-39 instead of "All". As far
as other end. Since you don't state that he has the necessary hardware
and software to "play" it, or the necessary security permissions relaxed
on the e-mail handler, all bets are off. If everything is correctly set
then its a mere double-click on a ".pps" file (Hint save as Power Point
Show)

Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)
