Powerpoint song

I just typed a song that I would like my class to follow and sing. How do I
use powerpoint to look like it is showing up on a karaoke machine. I would
like to be able to hit the enter key after each line of the song, therefore,
I only want one line to show up at a time.

Hi ssp,
What you can do is,
first, right click on the textbox and select Custom Animation.
Click Add Effect and select an entrance effect. Either appear or fade would
be good.
Check if only one or many effect properties appear.
If there is only one, right click on the effect and select Effect Options.

Go to Text Animation Tab,
modify the Group text setting to All paragrahs at once.

Go to Effect Tab,
modify the After animation setting to Hide on Next Mouse Click.
Click ok.

Click on the effect properties again. Now, you will see an expand button for
you to bring down a list of effects.
Do not expand it. Instead, modify the Start setting to On Click.

Thank You, should I put the entire song on one powerpoint slide or on
different slides.

Yes, you can put it on just one slide.

When you click Slide Show > Custom Animation, you will see an area with a
list of animations in it if you have added animations on objects.

You can double click on any of the animation, which brings up the Effect
Options.
Then, there are three tabs on top. (Effect, Timing, Text Animation)
