Powerpoint to keep source formatting as default in past option

When inserting text which i have copied from another or the same text box, I
waste an incredible amount of time always trying to correct for the softwares
automatic resizing of the inserted text. This wasn't in the previous releases
and is obviously related to the software trying to be too clever. A simple
option, which does not appear to be available at the moment, to allow the
user to have 'source formatting' as the default would be incredibly useful

FYI -

Paste Special provides this option. Select Unformatted Text.

I use the alt key to drag the Paste Special formatting option onto my Tool
Bar so that I have constant and easy access to this tool.
