PP to CD/DVD Programs

Question 1:

When recording a PPP to CD, would I need to full, and
expensive, Camtasia software with SnagIt or just SnagIt? I
have seen on the website to purchase Camtasia that there
is a bundle package.

Question 2:

If I am going to burn to a CD to play in a DVD player,
would I need Nero Vision Express? It looks like I would
only need to use that if I was going to burn to a DVD...
am I correct? :)

Question 3:

And I promise, this is the last one! I sent a message to
the newsgroup about a week or so ago and put my real e-
mail address in the field and ever since then, I have been
receiving e-mails from my provider (RoadRunner) saying
that they have intercepted a harmful e-mail containg some
kind of worm saying it was from Microsoft. By me putting
my e-mail in that field, could that have caused this worm
to be trying to get into my computer? (BTW, I realize that
this has nothing to do with PP, but I thought someone
would know!)

Thank you,

Justin

A1.

SnagIt captures static screens only.
Camtasia captures moving screens only.

A2.

If you need to burn anything to a CD you need CD burning software
If you need to burn anything to a DVD you need DVD burning software
Some software like nero can do both.
Nero Vision Express can create DVD menu systems.

Some DVD players can read both DVDs and CDs (and to complicate things further...VCDs and SVCDs)

A3.

Spam and Viruses can reach you via a number of ways...sometimes it takes no effort on your behalf.
Putting your real email address anywhere on the internet leaves 1 way of spam harvesters to get your emails address.
By someone having your email address in their address book leaves another way of viruses to get your email address.
The virus you have mentioned is a common one...it has nothing to do with microsoft.
