I'm writing a PPT add-in in C#, but I'm running into a strange
problem. The add-in is designed to move around images on slides while
the presentation is running. It seems to work fine initially, but
after running for a few seconds the motion suddenly becomes very
choppy. The odd part is that this choppiness continues after ending
and restarting the presentation, but can be cured by simply
right-clicking on a shape, opening the properties window, and clicking
ok without changing anything. During the slow-down there doesn't seem
to be any excessive memory or processor usage. The add-in repeatedly
changes the crop values for the images it moves, which may have
something to do with it. I've been testing it on PPT 2002 on WinXP.
Has anyone every experienced something like this before, or can give
me some suggestions to try?
Thanks a lot!
