Presentation Progress Map...

Is there a way in PP2003 to indicate progress in a given presentation, sorta like a map, or countdown, or something nice like dots that fill in once a slide has been shown? It lets viewers know where they are at in the presentation.

How about M of N?

The N will have to be entered manually (View | Master > Slide Master),
but PP will provide the M (View | Header and Footer... | Slide tab |
check 'Slide Number' and, optionally, 'Do not show on title slide', and
click 'Apply to All'.
