Prevent slides from being up dated with new colour scheme

I am using PowerPoint 2000 and I am trying to import another presentation
into the middle of my one, which has the slide master formatted to our
company colours. The other presentation is done in their company colours and
we need to keep these as they are together with ours. Is there any way of
doing this or "turning off the Slide Master" so it doesn't autoformat??

Not in PowerPoint 2000, which doesn't support multiple Masters. See

One good solution would be to link to the other presentation. See

"seamlessly".
