I created this ms publisher thing in ms pub 2000. Now every time I try
and edit it and save it gives me thing "I can't because fonts are preiw
only / embeded" error.

1st I used MS arial. Then I changed it all to arial black, then arial
and it just seems no matter what I do I get the same problem.

Anyone have any ideas? Need to save the things I've added.

Does your printer have built-in fonts?

Hmm, I think I used to use a Brother 1240. I did switch to a Brother
HL2040. Maybe this change is the issue. I do not know if it has built
in fonts. How could I find that out or make it work with it?

What version Publisher are you using now? If you have upgraded to a newer
version, copy/paste everything over to a new Publication. See if that works.
Publisher saves printer information with each document.
Look at your printers properties, configure tab, more button. Should have the
font DiMM(s) listed.

Using ms pub 2000. No upgrade. Since I can't have more than one
publisher open I'll kill all my changes.

Would I be able to export this as an html file or something else to
reopen later in publisher and start again where I was maybe?

Any other work arounds?

What about the changing of the printer?

Everytime I try and open another file or create another I get the "do
you want to save changes before closing" pop up. So apparently it's
going to close the one I have open.
