Preview Pane in Notes and Tasks

I could have sworn that in Entourage 2004, there used to be a Preview
Pane in both the Notes and Tasks section. I could be losing my mind,
but it's been awhile since I used those two features, so I could be
wrong.

When I click on the Tasks window, and then go to View menu, Preview
Pane is in gray. Same with Notes, but there the grayed Preview Pane has
a check mark.

Is there a way to turn on Preview Pane for either Tasks or Notes?

No, I'm afraid you're losing your mind ;-) ; there's never been a preview
pane for Notes and Tasks, which is why the option is greyed out in the menu.
It's been requested a number of times, though, and you should let Microsoft
know that you'd like to see that feature implemented in a future release. To
do that, simply click on Help>Send Feedback on Entourage.
