Previous "actual work" automatically set to 0 after an update

After having republished a full project (linked with some others that haven't
been republished), when I try to update new entries of users (on project web
access), all the previous inputs are automatically set to 0. Has anyone seen
it before ? and is there a way to avoid this automatic update ?
