Previous Addresses

I was wondering is there a way to see all my previous recipient's
addresses like I can in Mac Mail? Also, how can I delete any email
address in the area of addresses where I have sent them out, that is,
in the address section of an email. These are ones not in my address
book.

Thanks

Hi there,

no, there is no way of showing a "previous recipients" window as in Apple
Mail. Here's a general description of what the MRU AutoComplete list does in
Entourage and how you can clear it:

A feature in Entourage, called MRU (Most Recently Used) AutoComplete List,
gathers addresses from your recently used contacts. These can be contacts
from both incoming and outgoing e-mail messages, and Entourage stores them
in a list for quick access. Entourage never learns addresses from e-mail
messages marked as junk, and the list is limited to 200 entries, so wrong
and obsolete entries are bound to disappear after some time.

To turn off this feature, go to Entourage>Preferences and select the Compose
entry in the Mail & News section. At the bottom of that window, you will see
an option labelled "Display a list of recently used addresses when
addressing messages"; uncheck it. You can also hit the Clear List button
just below to force Entourage to empty the list.

You can find out more about it by reading the information on this website:
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/glossary/mru.html>
