Primary HD crash, fresh recovery

Here it is, my secondary computers main hard drive crashed
and I reinstalled Windows. Fortunately I have all the
drivers on disk and was able to get the computer fully
functional in a sense. Unfortunately my copy of Office XP
is on my secondary hard drive and now Windows won't
recognize it. Do I need to reinstall Office or would an
upgrade to Windows fix the problem as I am sitting on a
copy of Win XP and trying to decide which computer to put
it on. Thank you all in advance for any help.
