Print Dialog

I am sure this is an easy thing to figure out but I can't seem to find how I get to the print dialog. I can click the print button, although it doesn't seem to work, but how do I get to the print dialog where I can choose my printer and make other settings adjustments?

What happens when you click on the Print button?

Alternately try Print or Page Setup from the File menu at the top of your
screen.

Clicking the print button doesn't seem to do anything. It no print que opens and nothing prints. Choosing print from the menu has the same effect. I can choose the printer in page setup but that's the wrong dialog. What I need is print setup not page setup.

Can you print in other applications?

When you print in Mac OS X, your computer will automatically send the print
job to the default printer. To set the default printer in Mac OS X, do the
following:
Click Apple Icon > System Preferences....
Click Print & Fax.
Do one of the following:
In Mac OS X 10.3 and 10.4, click the drop-down menu labeled Selected Printer
in Print Dialog and select the desired printer.
In Mac OS X 10.5, click the drop-down menu labeled Default Printer and
select the desired printer.
Close the Print & Fax window.
The printer you selected is now set as the default printer.

No problem choosing the default printer. Can you only print to the default printer from entourage?

Not sure what changed but now I am getting the dialog. I did add a local printer so perhaps that made a difference although it should not have. I am gonna say your answer worked. Thanks for the help.

Print problems are often difficult to troubleshoot since it involves so many
different printers. Glad it's working for you.
