i am finding that i can successfully print on custom size paper (e.g.
6.75" x 4.25") on some HP printers (5500, OfficeJet t45) but not on
others (HP 1610, HP 2575). In all cases I choose the custom size from
page setup, center the text and everything looks fine in Print Preview.
However when actually printing, the text is way off-center on the 1610
and 2757, but perfectly centered on the 5500 and t45. In all cases, I
set the custom paper size also in the printer properties displayed in
the HP screens.
One usergroup suggested creating a form with the desired dimensions. I
did so by selecting Printers/Fax from Control Panel, selecting my
printer and choosing File/Server Properties and creating and saving the
new form. However I do not know how to invoke this form when printing
my document.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
