Printing from Word 97 using Windows 95

If this is the wrong group, please let me know which is the correct
group. Suddenly, when I print a Word document my printer (HP DeskJet
820Cse) moves at a snail's pace. Printing from Excel, Notepad, Wordpad,
the Internet all are normal. I uninstalled and reinstalled Word 97 and
there was no change. I am at a loss to explain this. Can anyone help?

I think I solved the problem by downloading and installing the latest
driver for my printer/W95.
