printing in color

I have a word file that has been sent to me but when I attempt to print it in
comes out in black and white. I have new cartridges and they do print in
color--

Check the Compatibility Options and make sure that "Print colors as black"
is not checked.

I did check that and it was not checked. Any more suggestions?

There is color in the document?

Click on File | Print | Properties, and make sure "black and white" is not
selected anywhere.
