How do I stop my data changing into #### symbols in the print preview and
during printing, when it is shown as perfectly valid on the spreadsheet?

Widen the column.
Use a smaller font.
(WYSIWYG ain't necessarily true!)

Worked it out! Basically I needed to get all my data aligned consistently.
