Printing problem with HP DesignJet 500

My client is printing Gantt Chart view from Project Pro 2007 to an HP
DesignJet 500 plotter. The client needs to fit the printout to one 44" page
tall, but when they use either "fit to" or "zoom," the timescale shrinks and
prints at a size that is unreadable. This happened with the task sheet text,
too, but that can be fixed by changing the font size. Previously, the client
didn't have these printing problems. Nothing changed in the computer setup to
cause this change, according to the client.

Any ideas of what might be wrong or suggestions for getting the timescale to
print correctly?

Hi, Rob:
All I could go on what what the client indicated, and they indicated no
changes. The company's IT department is hopelessly overwhelmed, so I doubt
it's a case of updates and patches being installed, because that rarely
happens at the company in question, but it's possible. Plus, the printer is
printing/scaling correctly from other applications, so the problem seems to
be isolated to Project.

We already tried working with the scaling settings as noted in the MVP Help
topic, but I appreciate the pointer.
