Printing to HP Color LaserJet

Hello,

I have a presenation that seems to only print to completion when the network
HP Color Laser is operating at 10mb Half Duplex. This 4600 can go
100mb....but If I have it connected at that speed I only get the 1st 5 pages
and then the rest ofthe job hoses up........anyone else see this anomoly ??

Hi Dan,

Couple of thoughts, you could check out.

The printer's memory may be damaged or defective. Or the printers memory
management is overflowing. If this was the case, then it would stand to
reason that, possibly,
The 10 Mbs cable connection may slow the incoming signal down enough not to
need the location or overflow management routines.

It is possible that the driver has become corrupted. Perhaps you could
check if you have the latest driver and re-install it. Do you have the full
driver installed on the local machine? PowerPoint does not play well with
some network printer configurations, you may have stumbled onto one of them.

Have you asked the HP folks? While they may no longer be selling this
printer, I'm sure they still have people that can support it.
