printing without outlines on objects

hello everybod

I use pp to create prototypes of web functionalities. When I print a prototype, pp includes an outline around eg. a textbox. I have chosen "no line" for the object ... and still ... it's there in print

Please help me make it go away! Makes my prototypes look so ugly in print

which version of PowerPoint are you using?

I assume you try to print in black&white, not in color?

In PPT 2002 (and 2003, of course) there should be a "grayscale" option in
the printer. Try this instead of black&white. Do you get what you want?

If not, you have to fiddle with the grayscale settings: "View - Grayscale",
right click on the object you want to change, you should find an item to
change grayscale settings there. Test, which one fits your needs.

Kind regards,
Ute

Often you will see this if the textbox has a fill. Remove the fill, and
the line goes away when printing.

Only workaround I know is to create a separate shape with a fill and
place it underneath the textbox -- that is, if you actually *need* the
fill...
