Problem Adding Music- Help Please.

I am creating a Power Point slide show and there are three songs that I want
to play during specific slides. The first song plays as I have directed it to
(slides 1-23), however the second song ( want it to play from slides 24-43)
keeps on playing past the slide that I have told it to play up to (past 43+).
The third song comes in and overlaps with the second song. I have reviewed
the slides over and over again and I can't seem to find the problem. Any
suggestions on why this is happening and what I can do to fix this problem?

What do you have the second sound set to stop after? It should work if you
have it set to stop after 18 slides.....

(Also: Which version of PPT? It makes a difference....)

if we live without making a difference, it makes no difference that we lived

Have you sent the music properties to stop playing after
19 slides? If it starts on slide 24 and stops after 19
slides, it should stop after slide 43.
