Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

After changing Exchange Server from older to 2007 we can't connect our Entourage clients, but Outlook client works.
Is there thing to look at? What can be different?

Did your administrator install Legacy Applications? That's required for
Entourage connectivity because it contains WebDAV.

Hope this helps!

They say they have Legacy Applications installed, because of older servers and office apps.
If I make a new account automatic I get the right name to choose. But it can't finished it. Have to go to manually konfig.
In the config window all seems ok. The only new thing I see here is under authentication, "Use Kerberos-authentication" .
I tried to make a new ID here and it seems that I cant log in to Kerberos-authentication. Perhaps that's the problem?

Not every network is properly configured to support Kerberos. I suggest
troubleshooting your problem using manual authentication and then once
that's working you can try Kerberos.

You should be able to use Safari to connect to your back-end Exchange
Server's address. If that works then Entourage should work. Try
something like:

server.domain.com

This is *not* an Outlook Web Access (OWA) address.

Hope this helps!

I get connection with the server. I used Safari and Lookup to find the the ip- address, both worked.

When trying to make Kerberos authentication it says that it Failed and the password or the authentication failed (translated)

But perhaps it is the same Kerberos authentication problem that other have, but no solution found yet?

Something with the Kerberos authentication?

We use Admitmac to log in AD.

Did you try using standard authentication in Entourage yet? Does that
work or not?

Yes. Didn't work.

Then we need to stop troubleshooting Kerberos and start troubleshooting
your authentication or connection.

For Exchange Server 2007 you may need to change your server address from:

server.domain.com

to

server.domain.com/exchange/[email protected]

where "(e-mail address removed)" is your E-mail address.

Hope this helps!

Ty for trying helping us.
We tried the octher server addressing, neither that worked.

We tried to make a new account using the autamtic configuration. All is OK, we get message that we got it correct.
The name, ID , domain, Exchange- server LDAP-server, all seems OK.
Then the last one, the verification, didn't work.
It says that
"
"Verification Failed: "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password" (-17900 )"

Wedav works
