Problem connecting Entourage/Apple mail to MS small Business 2003 server/exchange

I have installed Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 at a customer with no
problems at all
They have 5 pc desktops who can connect to exchange without any problem
(outlook 2003)

They have 2 apple Os X 10.3.9 systems who cannot connect to exchange
(entourage and Apple Mail)

The y give a fault that the pass or login name are incorrect, if i do the
same through the apple browser
\\*.*.*.*\exchange then it works fine

any idea?

i already did:
* Disabled the digital signed communication between the sbs server
* updated Entourage to the latest version

Mail will conenct through IMAP (make sure it's enabled on the server).
If you have Entourage 2004, it will connect through WebDAV on the
webmail server (simply use the http address of the server). Entourage X
will still use IMAP for e-mails though.

For IMPA, you can try using DOMAIN\Login as the login instead,
