I back up Entourage regularly. Up until now I've never had a problem. Now I'm getting a message telling me that I have a bad email and the export aborts. I was able to back up the other files (contacts, notes, etc.) successfully one at a time. Whether I try to back up Entourage all at once or just the email file, the result is the same. How the heck am I supposed to tell of the hundreds of emails which one is the villain? I've rebuilt the database multiple times and still no go. Help. And, thanks for any assist you can give.

What method are you using to backup?

If you export as MBOX files, you might be able to find the folder with the
bad message(s.) When you find the folder, you can try dragging individual
messages to the desktop. It's possible you can get them all this way or at
least, find the culprit and delete it.

You might need to start a new Identity by importing manually all of your
data.
