I am running Outlook 2002, and the "View -> Go To -> News" command no longer
opens Outlook Express in news-only mode. Instead, OE opens up as both the
mail and news client. As a result, Windows Messenger starts up each time I
go to the news reader. I am using Outlook for my mail, so I don't need OE's
mail capabilities.
I understand I can create a shortcut to OE on the desktop that has the
/newsonly command line option, but I want to launch OE in news-only mode
from Outlook (not an external shortcut). Anybody know of a way to do this?
