We recently updated our OLAP cube on the production server with a new
version (version 2) of the cube (cube name remaining same). Since then we
cannot refresh all our older pivot tables which were created using version 1
of the cube. Cube name remaining the same, we thought this was possible
since while creating a new link through Excel to an OLAP data source to
build a pivot table, we only need to specify the server and the cube names.
Our problem is in re-enabling refresh on several pivot tables created using
version 1 of cube, without having to recreate them from scratch. Thanks.
