Problem sending large files through Entourage

I having a problem sending large zipped attachments out through
entourage for the Mac. They normally sit for hours before they go and
it backs up the rest of my outgoing email plus crashes the email
server. The files can range from 2megs to 60 megs. When I used
outlook on the Mac I never encountered any problems. I can send the
same files out through my PC using outlook and not have problems the
files go immediately.

There have been times that the recipient of the message gets
duplicates of the message. (example I sent a large email and hit the
send button once and the recipient got the same message 8 times).

Has anyone encountered the same problems if so, do you have a
resolution?

This, especially the fact that your recipient sometimes gets duplicates,
indicates problems with a mail server along the route having problems with
the transmission. Email isn't really the best tool for 2mb files, never mind
60mb! Try to find an ftp server or a shared disk (an iDisk?) that guests can
log in to and use that for sharing such large files.
