Problem w/email from blogger using Feedburner subscriptions

I am having problems opening email from blogs using Feedburner subscriptions
(my own blog subscription included).

Facts to know:
1 - occurance of problem coincides with upgrading to Outlook 7 SP2
2 - all blog emails include images (artist blogs)
3 - problem - very slow to upload, sometimes freezes
4 - following message slowly appears in process:
"contacting//blogger.googleuserconte...for information"

This problem does not happen blog subscription emails from Feedblitz or
YourMailingListProvider. Please advise.
