Hiya,
I have a problem, I am trying to create a spreadsheet which will eas
my weekly returns. I have to at present fill in a description and the
a six digit code (which for some reason is spread over 5 colomns).
Now, I cannot modify the layout of the spreadsheet (which means that
need to keep the 5 colomn codes) but I can create fucntions in it.
have managed to create a drop list of the descriptions. What I want t
be able to do is after I have selected the description is for the si
colomns to be automatically completed.
I have experimented myself but with a similar 5 colomn code and wit
only 5 descriptions (I have 65 in the real thing) needless to say i
was really complicated and didn't really work. I was trying nested I
statements and HLOOKUP.
Example data:
Laundry 3 4 5 6 7
Rent 1 2 3 4 5
Phone 6 5 4 3 2
Any help would be great, or even just a point to the correct path.
