Problem with changing a color on the master slide

Hi experts! I'm having a problem changing the color in a simple box on my
slide master. The slide master is not preserved. I go View Master and select
the box | Colors and Lines | Select a different fill color | Select Okay |
and then nothing. The same color is still there. It is a simple box, no
layers, nothing special. And once again, the Master is not preserved.

I really do not want to re-create the Master.

"Preserving" the master just means the master won't be deleted if you don't
have any slides that use it. So you probably do want to preserve your master
so you don't run the risk of losing it.

That said, I don't know what the problem is. Sounds as if you might want to
try round-tripping to get rid of the woolies. See
