Problem with dates in Entourage & Palm Desktop

I'm using OS 10.3.3 and Palm Desktop 4.1. The dates in Entourage and
Palm desktop read today as:
AprilJuly09329942003.

I am completely baffled as how to alleviate this problem.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
