I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out with, what appears to be, a
new problem. I'm using Outlook 2002. I now have a problem in that, when I
click on send/receive, I get a group of older messages that pop up in my
inbox before Outlook hangs and hangs and hangs.... I know the messages
aren't on the server, as I can view my inbox as a web-based option, and if I
use my office PC and Outlook (or another mail client), I have no new
messages.
I've tried creating a new profile, importing messages, etc. from my
outlook.pst file, and I still have the same problem.
I also see some references to this problem when I google it, though I dont'
see that anyone has an answer that seems to work for me. In what file is
the list of messages to be delivered to the Inbox, such that it keeps coming
up with messages long since deleted from the server ?
Any suggestions?
