Problem with IMAP and receiving emails

I'm having an issue with an imap account. Basically I check about 5 email
accounts, all POP 3. I recently added one account to check and have it set
as IMAP. When the send and receive runs it shows its checking the IMAP
account but no emails seem to come through. Then if I select the IMAP inbox
emails start to come in and get filtered properly.

Am I not doing something right here? I have the IMAP account set to stay
sync'd with the server and to download all messages.
