Problem with ppview32 and autorun/cd-rom

Hi!

I use autorun.inf to start a menu with ppview32 created in powerpoint. When
clicking on links to documents and other files outside my presentation, I
get a message that they can't be found.

But if I start the menu by dragging it to the ppview32 icon, it works fine.

I have learned that this is teh "MRU bug", where ppview uses the most
recently used folder as base folder.

But how do I work around this problem?

When creating a presentation that you plan to distribute via an autorun CD that
uses the Viewer, you must first move all of the files you will be using to a
single folder. Then begin creating the presentation and save it to the same
folder. Only link to files if they are already in the folder.

For a presentation that has already been created, you can't just move all of the
files to a single folder. You must do that and then delete the links and
re-insert them so that the links are pointing to the folder. Then you can burn
everything to a CD.
