Problem with Quotation Marks and Apostrophes

O

O'Shark

This is similar to Annie's problem but I have yet to find a solution. When I
type either a quotation mark or an apostrophe, nothing appears on my screen
until I type another character or hit the space bar. This has started
happening after installing Office 2003.

Thanks in advance,
Randy

You probably have an international keyboard layout selected in Windows.
See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306560 "How To Use the United
States-International Keyboard Layout in Windows XP", except that you
want to select the standard U.S. keyboard instead of the
U.S.-International keyboard.

That did the trick. It works the way it used to now. Thank you!
