Problem with setting the focus in a textbox

T

Theo van der Ster

This is obviously a very minor problem but I wouldn't mind a solution
just the same. When I set the focus on a textbox I don't see the
insertion point if it's a multiline textbox. You can see it received
the focus when you press tab, because then the focus moves to the next
control. But I don't get an insertion point and I cannot insert text in
the box until I click in it. Strange huh?

Thanks in advance for any help,
Theo

This is a UserForm? Or something else?

Version of Word?

How are you setting the focus? Using code (if yes, please show us)?
