Problem with text and XLM file attachments showing inline

When I receive email with attachments, they all show up fine with the
exception of .txt or XLM files, which annoyingly always appear in the
body of the mail. It there a way to make Entourage show text and XML as
regular attachments so that I can store the files to my documents directory?
