Problem with Viewer

Brian

I'm trying to package to CD a large slide show, about 660 slides (all
pictures), with music. The package includes 23 different files and is 579MB.
The viewer auto starts (it takes a few minutes), and runs fine for the first
hundred or so slides with music, then it starts showing blank pictures. I've
copied to folder, and burned a CD from there - no help. From the copied
folder, I can run the presentation fine using the full power point, but I run
into the problem when I try to run it with the viewer. Is this prensentation
just too big for the viewer to handle, or is there something else I can try?
I've used this viewer with smaller slide shows (and music) before with
success.

Thanks for any suggestions.

It may not be the size of the file, although your file is huge and you might
want to explore reducing the file size.

If the presentation is too demanding and the Viewer cannot keep up with it, the
first thing to be ommited will be graphics. Recognize that CD drives are much
slower than hard drives.

So, if the Viewer completes displaying a slide and it is set to transition, but
the next slide has not been read in and fully readied for display, the Viewer
will just show what it has.
