Problems deleting an oversized message

thanks so much for taking a look at my problem -
I composed a message and attached far to may megs of pics to it - I
tried to send it before I realized it was too big, needless to say, it
didn't make it out. This messageis now stuck and will not be deleted -
it's even boggin down the whole program, won't empty the deleted item,
etc. Any light you can shed is greatly appreciated.

Same problem. Entourage keeps trying to send it over and over,
bouncing up and down in the dock.
