Problems Displaying Form Results

P

Paul Brophy

I am currently developing an Intranet for a company, and
this is my first experience in using FP.
I have created a form and the form is displaying
correctly, however when I try to view the results of the
form via the Intranet the results are not displaying.
I would like to be able to display the results in an Excel
spreadsheet, and allow all staff within the company to
view the form results.
I have tried creating a CSV file outside of _private
folder, but I can not get the form results to display.
I have been successful displaying the form results in HTML
format, but as you know these results display vertically,
and the benefit of the CSV file is they should be
displayed horizontally. I want the staff to be able to
view, and the data, but not neccesarily manipulate it.

Can you help?

First of all your form must save results to a folder w/ Write permissions
- by default the _private folder
In order to view the file all users would need a link to the .txt or .csv file and may require a userid/password

An alternative would be to use a Database and ASP to save the form results
