I'm trying to use Entourage as a client on an MS Exchange
email server. I've got everything configured properly and
I can send and recieve emails just fine.
Only problem I have is replying to and forwarding emails.
When I try to do this I get a "relaying not allowed" kind
of message back from the server.
My LAN manager, who takes a dim view of my putting a Mac
on his network, tells me that this is due to an
intentional configuration seting on Exchange Server so
that we don't get outsiders using our server to forward
spam and such.
Of course, I don't have this problem on my Win machine,
where we use Outlook. Which tells me that there must be a
way to do this with Entourage.
So my question is: Anyone have any ideas how I can
configure Entourage so that I can reply to and forward
mail messages?
Any help I can get in doing this will be greatly
appreciated and returned in kind, to the extent that I am
able. There may even be a bottle or two of Genuine, home
made wine (Brooklyn's finest!) in it for you as an
incentive.
TIA
