We have a small network with about 100 mailboxes. Last year we
upgraded everyone to Outlook 2003 to go with the Exchange 2003
upgrade. Since then, there was 1 user that could not send Excel
attachments, no matter how many times she clicked send. If we connect
via VNC and click send, it works right away. I ignored it for months,
because she only has to send an attachment every 2-4 weeks. My
manager (more patient than me) once spent 20 minutes in her office
clicking Send, to see if it would go. It never did, but when he went
back to his desk and used VNC, it worked on the first try.
Starting last week we now have another user that has the same
problem, and only with Excel attachments. Word attachments are no
problem, as far as I know. Emails without attachments are no problem.
The first computer to have the problem is Windows 2000 SP4, Office 97
is installed, and Outlook 2003. The more recent computer with the
problem is Windows XP SP2 with Office 2003 Pro. Both computers also
have Access 97 runtime installed.
Any suggestions appreciated.
