problems sending mail

Hello,
I am having problems sending my mail from my mac. I do not have this
probllem when I get to this e-mail account online (yahoo,etc). When I
try and send the message from my entourage account the message "an
operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded,
or there may be too much net traffic" appears. I can send this info.
from my companies account online. I have also checked the account
settings of my entourage account and both the servers incoming and
outgoing are correct. Also, 1 employee's messages bounce back when she
tries to send me an e-mail to my account. Help!!!!!

Problems sending e-mails are usually SMTP issues (unles syou use
Exchange). Most of the time, you need to use the local SMTP server for
sending e-mails. Is it the one you entered in your settings??
