Problems When Updated Entourage

Hi All - Any ideas with this problem.

I work in a small design agency - we all have licensed version of MS
Office X, This morning one of the guys got a message to update there
Entourage, they clicked yes and all went ok. Now the machine is saying
its clashing with one of the other versions of MSO, even though we all
have individual licenses... Is there a way around this to make it
recognise the license or do I have to reinstall Office...?

Hi Rich,

this is slightly strange. If someone had accidentally typed in a product key
that was already being used, then Office should have given him that message
even *before* the update. Anyway, you should download Barry Wainwright's
free AppleScript "De-Serialise Microsoft Office" and run it to remove the
product identification number, then try to re-enter that user's product key
and see if that makes a difference.

Unfortunately, the script will only de-serialise Office 2004 at the moment -
modifying it to include vX is just one of the enhancements that has been
requested and is waiting for some free time!
