Problems with copy picture

Kevinf

I can not use the copy picture function or the copy picture wizard. If using
the wizard it stops on step 4 of 4. If using copy picture it says something
about a graphic filter. to check path, memory & close programs.
I have tried putting a new path no help and I have 80% free disk space and 2
gig of RAm with nothing else open.
Any help, it did work previously.\

Thanks
Kevin

Kevin,
If it used to work and you apparently have adequate memory, then I
suspect Project itself may have a problem. Did you try Help/Detect and
Repair? Another question, do you only have a problem with a single file
or are all project files showing the problem?

By the way, having nothing else open doesn't necessarily clear memory. I
assume you tried the obvious of restarting and then going directly to
Project.

I am having the exact same problem with Project 2007 Beta 2.

The easiest workaround I found is to use Copy Picture to send it to the
clipboard, and then paste into a paint program.

Unfortunately, some paint programs do not recognize that there is a picture
in the clipboard! For instance, Paint.NET does not see it. So I have to paste
into MS Paint (which does see it), then copy it again from MS Point. Then I
can 'acquire' it in Paint.NET or elsewhere. Crazy stuff.

I'd love for either or both of these issues to be fixed!

Thanks
Keith

Kevin,

In light of Keith's post -- what version of MS Project are you using?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
