problems with entourage "notes"

hi.
I'm having problems with entourage "notes".
I have always use them, but now I cant save them anymore. Every time I create a new one and press save, entourage collapses and get stacked.
I updated it, but it didn't solve the problem...
what can I do?.

Create a new Identity in Entourage. Test Notes. If it works then there is a
problem in your main Identity database. Rebuild your database.

If it does not work, then test Entourage in a new User.
Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the
New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Test Entourage
there.
