Problems with print preview

This is a recent problem with my laptop. which has Windows
XP and Office XP Standard for Students Version 2002.
I cannot print preview any of the spreadsheets. I get a
message-
No printers are installed. To install a printer point to
Settings on the Windows start menu, click Printerd and
then double click Add Printer nad follow the instructions.

I have not installed a printer and there was never a
problem with print preview unti 2 weeks ago. Any help will
be welcome
