Problems with sending and receiving distribution lists

We attach a distribution list in Outlook 2003 by clicking and dragging when
it is received the other end the tag appears to be there, but no distribution
list when we try to open it. We have tried using HTML and rich text. Any
one any ideas please?

Don't drag and drop. Insert it as an Outlook item in an RTF message.
